The past few weeks have been busy; I've been writing lots for Woman & Home, done some expert commentary for the Telegraph's 'Rate my reno' series and popped up in December's Your Home magazine with my DIY kitchen, but the real work has been going on behind the scenes.

I've overhauled my blog to try and make it easier to navigate as there are so many sections & categories now and I've been sharing new posts every day. I'd love to get your feedback and suggestions for making it even better so just reply to this post if you have any.

Before I forget, I need to tell you about some discount codes you might find useful... (where I buy my microcement kits) have offered all my followers 10% off using code CDS10 at checkout.

Swan products have offered 20% off non-sale items with code CLAIRE20 at checkout

Decorating centre online have offered 10% off most of their site with code clairescourse10

Panels by Sofia (where I buy my fluted mdf panels) has offered you 15% off at their etsy shop with code CLAIRE15

Hope they save you some money!

New SHOP open!

I've added a shop to my blog where you'll be able to find all my recommendations for homeware, furniture, DIY materials, Christmas decs and gift guides. The idea is to save you a bunch of time by having pre-vetted, stylish and affordable items all in one place. It's still quite early days & I'll be adding lots more products over the coming weeks but I'd love to hear what you think so far.

Condensation issues

I've shared a few posts about this lately & the response was crazy as so many are experiencing the same issues with condensation & mould in their home. Visit the tackling condensation page on the button below and find out top tips for prevention and remediation as well as how to keep warm without your heating on, how to deal with rusted mirrors (de-silvering) etc

I've set up a whole page about Christmas decorations and how to style your home for Christmas on a budget. There are tips about foraging for foliage for festive displays, info about poisonous plants to avoid if you have pets, a tutorial on how to DIY marbled baubles with old nail varnish and lots more.

1-hour DIYs

I've added a new section featuring quick and simple home improvements that can be accomplished in about an hour. There are flooring updates, Shelf makeovers and 1hour kitchen cabinet updates so far with lots of projects to be added.
