After installing my beautifull sheers in our living space and dinning room ,we decided to do a diy curtain pelmet to hide all the curtains tracks .They can be used decoratively too and a perfect addition to any home .

BEFORE AND AFTER LIVING SPACE

‌

Materials used:

_ 5 Wide straight skirting boards from bunnings for both rooms .

_ 4 Brackets for dinning room and 5 for living room .

_ 2 No more gaps sealer

_ White dulux paint

HOW WE MADE IT:

We first measured and cut the boards according to the wall size from one end to the other .Then we screw the brackets into the boards .Once all brackets were in place we have installed the boards in the wall makind sure all tracks were covered .  Tutorial video you will be able to see it a bit better . Once all the boards were installed and in place i filled all the gaps and joints with the gap filler including the top between the ceiling and boards .

After 24 hrs paint  the boards.

These diy pelmets made such a huge impact how the space looked afterwards .It completed both rooms and i couldnt be happier with it .
